Which riders are the race

Zwift gives every category of an event its own subgroup, and a rider only ever carries their own. That's the right field for a category start — A goes off, then B, and you're racing the riders in your pen. It's the wrong one for a mass start, where every category leaves on the same gun and rides the same road: screening to your own category there deletes most of the riders you can see.

Categories to include Auto includes the other categories when they start within a minute of yours on the same route, laps and distance — that's a mass start, and it's what the other overlays show. Different lap counts or a staggered start mean a different race, and it falls back to your own category. When the field does span categories, every window says so and each row carries its category letter. Each window can also override this in its own settings (its ⚙) — for example all categories on the dashboard and your own category on the rank window.

Who counts

Riders that fail any of these are virtually removed from every window in this mod — the count, your rank, the nearby list, the groups and the segment boards. Nothing changes in Zwift itself.

Remove Power Meter riders Zwift reports the power source as Power Meter — a crank or pedal meter paired directly, rather than a controllable trainer. Remove zPower riders Zwift is estimating watts from a speed sensor rather than measuring them. Unverifiable, and excluded from results in most series. Remove riders with no reported source Zwift publishes no power source at all for this rider. Turn this off to give the benefit of the doubt — but note a private profile often looks exactly like this. Remove private profiles See the note below — Sauce doesn't expose Zwift's privacy flag to mods, so this is recognised from what a private profile withholds. Private profile means… Why a proxy? Zwift's API does return real privacy flags, but Sauce's _profileToAthlete drops them before anything reaches a mod. So this keys off the physical stats Zwift only publishes for public profiles. In practice it overlaps the power filter heavily — a profile that publishes nothing usually publishes no power source either. Remove blacklisted riders Use the published ZwiftFairRankings blacklist The curated list, downloaded from the address below and matched by athlete ID. It is rebuilt once a day from the ZwiftFairRankings app and is read-only here — riders are added and removed by request (the ⚑ on a dashboard row), which an admin approves on the rankings site. If the download fails the mod keeps using the last copy it downloaded, so the list never silently empties. Your manual list below is merged on top of it, never instead of it. Blacklist address Where the published list is downloaded from, re-checked hourly. Point it elsewhere to screen against a different league's list; leave it empty for the default. Blacklist request buttons Show ⚑ on each dashboard row to ask for that rider to be blacklisted, and ⚐ on a listed rider to ask for them to be let back in. Both need a reason, and neither changes anything on its own: the request is queued on the rankings site for an admin to approve or deny, and the mod picks up an approved change with the next daily rebuild. Request address Where those requests are sent. Same host as the list; leave it empty for the default. Extra blacklist entries Athlete IDs and/or exact display names, one per line (commas work too). # starts a comment, so you can note why each entry is there. IDs are reliable; names are matched case-insensitively and break if the rider renames.

When to screen

Only after the race starts Hold the screening until the gun. Power source and profile data only settle once riders are actually riding, so a start-pen reading is noisy. Start grace (seconds) Wait this long after the published start time before screening. If the event publishes no start time, the mod falls back to "you have covered event distance", and this delay doesn't apply.

Rank window

Categories in this window Your place is counted among these riders. Set My category only to see your place in your own category while the dashboard shows every category — the window then names the category under the number.

Dashboard window

Show removed riders List the filtered-out riders and the reason for each. Max riders shown The list scrolls, so this is a cap on the rows built, not on the window. Show nation flags From the rider's Zwift profile country. Show w/kg Live watts per kilo. Blank for a rider outside radio range (~300 m) — they have no current power to report. Show raw watts Dashboard: live power in watts. Blank outside radio range. Show best 15 s power Dashboard: each rider's best 15-second power in w/kg, as Sauce has measured it while the rider was in radio range. Kept after they leave it. Show gap to leader Dashboard: seconds and metres behind the leader of the filtered field. Marked ~ when either rider is out of radio range (estimated from distance and speed); blank once they've been out of range a minute.

Nearby window

Categories in this window Override the shared choice for the Nearby window only. Rows shown The list is centred on you, so an odd number sits you in the middle. Show place Place within the filtered field, not Zwift's own position. Show w/kg Show raw watts Show gap to leader Seconds and metres behind the leader of the filtered field, as on the dashboard — ~ when the leader is out of radio range. Show gap Seconds to you — negative is ahead.

Groups window

Categories in this window Override the shared choice for the Groups window only. Groups shown Show unfiltered pack size Adds "of 12" so you can see how big the pack really is versus how many riders in it count.

Segments window

Categories in this window Override the shared choice for the Segments window only. Ranking Results shown Follow the rider down the road Every segment crossed takes the board over the moment it's crossed, so the board moves on with the race instead of staying on the route's first segment. The ‹ › arrows step back through the race in order (each board shows how far in it was) and hold there until the next crossing. Poll interval (seconds) How often segment results are re-read. Every segment the event can cross is swept, not just the one on screen — the board being watched every tick, the rest in rotation. Show the final classification when the event ends Zwift publishes results for anything with a finish line — races and group rides, distance-based and time-based alike. The window switches to them automatically once finishers appear or you leave the event, and the 🏁 button flips back and forth (it also says why, when results don't arrive). Duration-based events are ranked by distance covered, distance-based ones by elapsed time. Result rows shown Results poll interval (seconds) Include DNF / DNS List riders who started but didn't finish, and those who never started. Remove riders Zwift flagged Zwift marks some results for cheating or sandbagging itself. That's Zwift's judgement, not this mod's, so by default those rows are shown with a ⚑ badge rather than removed. Screen on the result's own power type Segment results carry Zwift's power-source field themselves, so riders you've never been near can still be screened. With this off, riders without a loaded profile fall back to the "no reported source" rule.

Appearance

Theme override Repaints all five windows — the panel takes the theme's colour and the text follows it, so a light theme gives light windows. Use app setting follows Sauce's own theme. The verdict colours don't change: green still means kept and amber still means blacklisted whatever the theme, because they're what a rider is shown when they ask why they were removed.
